Sanding your wooden floors is easy when
you hire from us, with full instructions given and sanding sheets supplied on
sale or return basis. The drum floor sander doesn't get right to the edge
so you'll need to hire a belt sander with it, to do the edges.
Please note these sanders are only available to our local area (South
Oxfordshire) and the drum floor sander is very heavy so you may need help getting it
out of your car when you get home. We can help you lift it in if you park
outside our shop.

17" Orbital Floor Sander
Very easy to use. Ideal for finer sanding of all
wooden floors, and preparation before resealing, waxing or painting. Sanding
sheets supplied on sale or return - 60, 80, 100, 150, 180 and 200 grits

20" Tomcat EDGE Orbital Sander and Polisher
We are proud to have the new and totally awesome Tomcat EDGE floor preparation and finishing machines on our hire fleet. Using a powerful 1.5hp motor, high speed oscillation and 75 kg of weight the Tomcat EDGE makes short work of even the toughest jobs. This orbital machine is unlike other orbital machines due to its adjustable head weight and high oscillating speed and a working width of 20” (500 mm).
The Tomcat EDGE with the rectangular high speed oscillating system offers a new concept in floor cleaning and preparation. The combination of a unique high speed orbital motion and a large range of cleaning pads, sanding screens and specially developed tools make the EDGE ideal for cleaning and renovation of wood floors. The orbital action gives a more even finish than traditional rotary machines, taking less time to achieve superior results and without the risk of damaging the floor which can happen with inexperienced people using drum sanders and disc edging machines.
