The purefast 250 litre and 400 litre skid units are amazingly versatile and they can be used in all sorts of vehicles and trailers. They are quick release, allowing your vehicle to be used for multiple tasks, a firm favourite with garden maintenance and facilities companies who also clean windows and cladding for their customers. If your vehicle is off the road or you need an additional system, the purefast 250 and 400 skid units can be quickly and safely fitted into a hire van, no drilling involved. A popular option is a removable purefast FLOWBOX which allows the battery and pump to be removed for charging or for frost protection. The FLOWBOX can also be used with other systems such as the purefast 125 trolley based window cleaning system.
The pictures below show a van fitted with a 250 litre tank system designed to be removable - overnight for security or frost prevention or for charging the battery. It also has the advantage of being adaptable for two operators to work at the same time and is ideal if your vehicle is off the road and you need a quick fix to use a temporary vehicle such as a hire van. Professional Window Cleaning Guide
Making water pure is very easy, thanks to our Di Resin filters. Tap water is passed through a filter vessel (which looks rather like a large fire extinguisher) packed with high capacity, mixed bed ion exchange resin, which produces virtually 100% pure water immediately and without any water loss or wastage. The cost of this process in most hard water areas is around 0.01p per litre of water and a full day's window cleaning with one waterfed pole consumes on average 400 litres. Pure water is produced at the same rate as the flow in your hosepipe, so there is minimal down time when filling containers or water tanks. purefast Di Resin filters are extremely simple to use and work perfectly well in all but freezing weather conditions and they can be connected between a tap and a waterfed pole, without any additional equipment. The purefast Di-25 and Di-9 systems use this simple technology. For more control over water flow and when working away from a tap the purefast battery powered systems are ideal.
Di resin looks similar to brown sugar and consists of small beads of a polystyrene polymer, which originates from petrochemicals. When water is passed through the resin filter, the resin beads attract impurities, stripping water of minerals and carbon dioxide. Pure water is very slightly acidic and therefore mildly aggressive, ideal for cleaning glass and will remove stubborn dirt and algae. Most windows can be cleaned without the need of detergents. Pure water also breaks down surface tension on glass and this is why glass stays cleaner for longer after washing.
Keep it simple is the purefast design brief, just plug in the hoses and you are ready to start cleaning.
As much as glass becomes soiled, window frames retain dirt and previously used detergents. On a first clean with a pure water system these impurities have to be released by brushing and then rinsing away. Once the frames have dried a second and sometimes a third pass over the glass produces crystal clear windows. From then on, the next time the windows are cleaned, sparkling glass is achieved in just a few brush strokes. Practice and experience improves your pole technique and the cleaning task gets easier, quicker and requires less effort. Glasshopper leaps ahead indoors - a leap forward in high level internal glass window cleaning, new Glasshopper reaches 3.41 metres (22 feet).
Introducing the awesome Glasshopper indoor window cleaning system. An innovative system making it extremely easy to clean window glass and cladding up to a height of 3.41 metres (22 feet) without leaving smears and streaks. For spotless, streak free and squeaky clean interior glass, cladding and signage the new Glasshopper reaches from ground floor to over 3.41 metres (22') using lightweight telescopic sections with quick release locking clamps, making height adjustment a doddle and glass is left perfectly clean with minimal physical effort.
Simply squeeze the trigger and the Glasshopper sprays a fine jet of pure water, just in front of the microfibre sleeve. This breaks through the surface tension on glass or cladding and releases the dirty film in a single pass. Then the operator simply flips the Glasshopper around and uses the powerful vacuum squeegee to leave the surface perfectly clean and dry with no water runoff or drips.
The Glasshopper system is easy to use and requires very few pole movements. This minimises the effort required by the operator and provides perfectly clean glass in a fraction of the time, especially when compared to using microfibre cloths on poles or using access towers and platform lifts - and all while working safely from the ground.
No chemicals are used in the
Glasshopper , just pure water. Pure water is normal tap water, but with all the minerals removed, so it cleans extremely well and does not leave limescale marks when it dries. The use of pure water has revolutionised window cleaning and for customers who do not have a supply of pure water, a Glasshopper filter vessel is available to plug into a standard tap and produce instant pure water at minimal cost. The Glasshopper's 6 litre pure water capacity is usually sufficient for a full day’s work, depending on the level of soiling.
Ideal for use in shopping centres, schools, colleges, leisure centres, offices, hotels and hospitals, the Glasshopper is supplied as a stand alone kit with lightweight stainless steel tubes, allowing the operator to work close up and at low level, or to extend the reach to over 2.75 metres (9 feet).

Setting up is very easy, connect the
3 metre hose to a tap and a Di resin filter.
Connect a hose from the resin filter to the trolley and fill the water tank.
The trolley is fitted with a hose reel containing 50 metres of 8mm lightweight
hose which is then connected to a waterfed pole via a tap mounted on your belt,
which you can use to shut off water flow when moving between windows, saving
water. You are now ready to work from ground floor up to 18 metres high,
depending on your choice of pole. A water quality meter is fitted to monitor the
condition of the water.

Introducing the Purefast 70 Di pure water window cleaning trolley. A new addition to our popular Purefast range, this 70 litre trolley is complete with onboard Di Resin filter, which can be used either independent of a mains water supply, or plugged into one for continuous operation. Ideal for large structures such as glasshouses, schools, colleges, hospitals or any building with a lot of glass or cladding to clean! A choice of telescopic waterfed poles are available from 1.3 metres to 24 metres.
